John Flowers started the business under John Flowers (Roofing Contractors) & Co. in 1977. In May 1982, the company John Flowers (Roofing Contractors) Ltd was incorporated.

In 1991, the company shortened its name to John Flowers Ltd. Since this time, John Flowers Ltd has had continuous year on year growth. This has resulted in the need to relocate three times to accommodate the growing workforce and materials necessary to maintain the superior roofing services we offer.

Today, John Flowers Ltd is a well-established and highly respected roofing company with over 30 years’ experience.

From our purpose-built warehouse and offices in Washington we are situated perfectly between the A1 and A19 allowing our service coverage to span beyond the entire North East to the North West and Yorkshire.

We are an efficient and productive operation with huge buying power which means that customers enjoy the benefit of a job well done for the best possible price, offering our customers a service of best value.

John Flowers Ltd have an experienced team of professionals starting from the initial estimate right through to the final inspection and hand over. Our delivery team, consisting of over 100 professional operators, are trained to carry out a wide range of roofing services, including tiling, slating, single ply, felting, green roofs and many more.

In addition to our roofing services, we also operate a trade counter open to both local builders and members of the public. Our trade counter stocks over 2,000 products and we use our ability to bulk buy to ensure the best prices for our customers. John Flowers Ltd use both traditional and contemporary tiling techniques for our clients. We supply and fix of various roof tiles including: Marley, Forticrete, Redland, Wienerberger (Sandtoft) and Russell.

Slating

Durable, sustainable and bespoke. Using natural and man-made slates, our slating services include: Westmorland, Spanish, Welsh strip & recover, and heritage work.

Built Up Felt Roofing
